Fasting for Longevity!

What started out as a 8 day fast as prescribed by Dr. Larry Clapp,  in his book Prostate Health in Ninety Days without drugs or surgery, has now,  so far become a 13 day fast. I am feeling quite good and feel that toxins are still leaving my body. I did my original first two days with just distilled water only,  but,  I am now sustaining on a lemonade  made with 2 tablespoons of organic lemons, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and a dash of cayenne to taste. I am also supplementing heavily, so as to rid myself of what I believe to be mercury poisoning from my old amalgam dental fillings. I had all known symptoms of this at the beginning of the fast, I would say that within the first couple of days I noticed a marked improvement, and now at 13 days,  although I feel a lot of headway has been made, my body is telling me to continue to fast. Some symptoms remain such as the tingling that is a major part of mercury toxicity, and I feel that there is more moving out daily right now and I do not want to slow the process.

Supplementation has been fairly heavy, a daily additon of psyllium husks and seeds, mixed with bentonite clay 5 times a day to scrape the colon and every morning a sea salt water oral enema to clean you out. Then,  add to that a parasite remover, and then reishi mushroom, N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine N.A.C.,Vitamin C-D-E, Turmeric, Resveratrol, Acai, sea algae- Sun Chlorella A, and tinctures of cilantro,seven medicinal mushrooms,  garlic and lipoic acid. All in mega doses 5 times a day.

I intend to continue listening to my body to determine when to begin eating again. I am a little bored of the lemonade at this point and it is more about just wanting to taste something rather than being hungry. I have had lots of energy through most of this and have taken my daily power walks and lifted weight as normal, and had lots of energy to do it.

Welcome to Your Journey to 100!

This is my first post on my new blog dedicated to you becoming a Centenarian. There will be tons of tips and tricks on how to maintain your health and more importantly, how to become pro active in your quest for Optimum Health on your journey to 100.

In conjunction with this site I am starting a website for my now 95 year old father on his quest to reach 100 Years of Age. He has always pushed myself and my sisters to be healthier. Here we will go over some of the principals he and I apply and hopefully you will find little tidbits that will help you personally in your quest for Optimum Health.

It requires a little dedication but once you get into the swing of daily exercise everything will start falling into place………as they say No Pain No Gain ;-) More Soon on Diet and Exercise….thrash
